DELIVERY POLICY & INFORMATION

CURRENT DELIVERY LEADTIMES

The ongoing COVID-19 issue is affecting all aspects of our business at present, including our delivery lead times. As such, any delivery window offered or implied when placing your order may be subject to change and we will communicate any delays or alterations accordingly.

We are experiencing some stock delivery issues on certain products, due to the current COVID-19 situation, but we have been assured restocking dates through the next few weeks. Therefore, any orders including non stock items will be held until complete, then delivered in the manner chosen.

Our current leadtime for delivery is - 7 working days

Some orders will be delivered well before this leadtime, others may surpass this leadtime. We will communicate any delays.

Once your online order has been placed you will receive an order confirmation. This will confirm the products purchased and the delivery method preferred and paid for. The NK Group reserve the right to alter the delivery method if necessary, incurring no extra cost to you. 

DELIVERY METHODS

 

LOCAL VAN DELIVERY (Only available between August & September)

The cost of local van delivery is £2.50 including VAT. Any order over the value of £50.00 (net of delivery charge) will be delivered for free.

Our local van delivery is offered to all orders to be delivered in the BS22, BS23 and BS24 postcodes. For deliveries to all other postcodes, outside of these, please refer to the alternative delivery/collection options below.

This popular service is run and operated by the NK Group with its own vans and now with a selected number of local couriers. All drivers have been trained in social distancing delivery and will make appropriate arrangements to obtain suitable delivery point information (names, photos etc).

When choosing the local van delivery option, the delivery will be made primarily on weekends, both Saturday and Sunday (9am-6pm). Also, local deliveries will be made on weekday evenings (5pm-9pm).

You will receive a dispatch notification by email or text message. This is a non trackable service once your order is dispatched for delivery on the van, please do not call to enquire about specific delivery times.

Current COVID-19 delivery procedure – where possible, delivery will be made with customer acknowledgment at the doorstep. A safe point of delivery will be made if no customer contact is achieved. If there is no safe place to deliver, a non delivery is recorded and the order will be returned to NK. NK reserve the right to recharge the £2.50 if a non delivery is deemed to be out of our control. There is no collection option after a failed delivery.

 

ROYAL MAIL POSTAGE/SHIPPING

Currently, the sole Royal Mail postage service offered will be the Tracked 48 Hour Parcel Service. This will be subsidised by NK and is priced as follows :

£3.00 (inc.VAT) orders between £0.00- £24.99

£4.50 (inc.Vat) orders between £25.00 - £74.99

FREE delivery UK mainland orders over £75.00

Once your order has been passed to Royal Mail, from NK, the delivery terms and conditions revert to Royal Mails conditions of carriage, including any insurance coverage. Details can be obtained from Royal Mail’s website. Link - https://www.royalmail.com/sending/uk/tracked-48

With the Tracked 48 Hour service Royal Mail suggest delivery will be made within two working days after the day of dispatch from NK. Being a tracked service, a tracking number will be sent to you by email or text message once your order has been dispatched. Do not rely on a Saturday delivery.

Once you have received communication from Royal Mail you will also receive regular updates from Royal Mail concerning your package. Revert to this information for any delivery information, please do not call NK for delivery updates, unless you have not received the order contrary to the Royal Mail’s tracking information.

If a delivery is missed Royal Mail will give you several options for redelivery or collection from a Post Office.

As stated above, NK reserve the right to alter the delivery method where it is deemed more efficient or effective.

 

DELIVERY DISCREPANCIES

All delivery discrepancies must be reported to NK Uniform within 48 hours of receipt. No remedial action will be taken outside of this time parameter.
